Guangdong News, Jan. 11 (Xinhua Cheng Jingwei) -- The award ceremony for the 2024 SHOP! International Retail Marketing Advertising Showcase Awards (hereinafter referred to as the Grand Prix) recently concluded in Guangzhou.
The event attracted the participation of more than 150 advertising, marketing and retail industry enterprises from P&G (China), Mars, Nestle (China), Guangdong Province Canton Group and other global companies to talk about the new future of the marketing and retail fields.
SHOP! Grand Prix is known as the “Oscars” of the marketing and retail industry, which has a history of 66 years since its birth, with 14 global chapters covering 25 countries or regions, and more than 100,000 marketed products and entries, which are witnesses to the growth and development of countless enterprise teams.
The winners of this year's Grand Prix were announced one by one at the conference. This year's awards included 20 Gold, 19 Silver and 13 Bronze prizes, as well as one Outstanding Achievement Award in Digital Marketing and one Grand Prize of the Year in 16 regular categories, including Digital Marketing, Visual/Scenario Marketing, Store Design, Display Cases and Shelves, Flash Stores, Shop-in-Shop and Counter, Category Management and Overseas Marketing.
The event also unveiled the 2024 SHOP! International Retail Marketing Advertisement Display Grand Prix, and the 2024 Jingdong Electric Red Pixel Series themed installation design submitted by Jingdong Five Star Electrical Appliances Group Limited won the “Grand Prize of the Year”. The Industry Contribution Award was presented to Francisco De Jesus from the United States.
This year's Grand Prix featured a wide range of entries from traditional retail giants to emerging e-commerce brands, demonstrating the diversity and vitality of marketing and retail enterprises. All participants were self-nominated or nominated by industry insiders, and were approved by the Grand Prix Organizing Committee's qualification and Final Jury, based on their innovative performance and industry impact in the field of communication in the past year.
During the meeting, Berman Law, Chairman of SHOP! Association, also announced that the 2025 SHOP Product Design Competition was officially launched to the public. (END)
