Symbiosis with Nature Interior Space
This project received the Winner award in the Public / Commercial / Space category of Shop! Design Awards. As an international competition focusing on innovative consumer product design, Shop! Design Awards is judged by top international designers and industry experts. The 2025 competition collected entries from more than 30 countries, with only 183 works selected as winners. This project is fully designed and completed by NIKI DESIGN.
Design Concept & Spatial Features
It is a full renovation solution for a 95-square-meter residence centered on the concept of coexistence with nature. The design shrinks the guest bathroom and removes partitions to streamline circulation and enhance natural light and transparency. Blending Southeast Asian resort style, it creates textural contrast between rustic raw materials and metallic decorations. Green plants blur the boundary between indoor and outdoor areas to build a relaxing natural living atmosphere.
Exploration of Design Value
Addressing the issue that urban residential spaces are cut off from nature, the design adopts space reduction techniques to boost lighting and ventilation. It balances natural textures and delicate details to integrate living spaces with natural vibes. This award offers a new reference for residential interior renovation with natural aesthetics.
