Xming Q6 Smart Projector

Xming Q6 smart projector has won the silver award in the Home Appliance category of the Shop! Design Awards. Hosted by the century-old SHOP! International Retail Association, the competition assesses entries based on original appearance, multi-scene adaptability, portable experience and innovative auxiliary functions. Winning products represent the cutting-edge design standard of household smart projectors. Developed by Formovie Innovation Technology, this projector targets young users living in rental apartments, dormitories and outdoor camping lovers, solving pain points of traditional projectors including bulky bodies, limited projection angles and lack of ambient lighting functions.

Design Concept & Structural Features

Designed with circular track inspiration, the projector features soft curved lines and low-saturation light tones, equipped with an integrated portable carry handle for easy transport. Its self-developed 360° dual-arm gimbal enables projection onto walls and ceilings at any angle without extra brackets. A built-in AI ambient light synchronizes colors and brightness with movie audio and visuals, and can work as an independent night light when not projecting. Adopting a 500CVIA fully enclosed optical engine with native 1080P resolution, it supports MiJia ecosystem and Xiao Ai voice control, and doubles as a Bluetooth speaker when the screen is off.

Combining lightweight portability, all-angle gimbal projection and synchronized ambient lighting, the device fits daily home, outdoor and office scenarios for young groups. This award marks an integration of industrial aesthetics, portable practicality and smart audio-visual technology, setting a new youth-oriented design trend for entry-level portable projectors. In the future, Formovie Innovation Technology will keep upgrading gimbal mechanisms, AI lighting and high-definition optical engines, expand the Xming portable projector lineup, and launch large-screen devices tailored to young people’s diverse living scenarios.
