Jarred Evans is Managing Director of PDR, a leading UK-based product and service design consultancy and academic design research centre. With over 30 years’ experience in design and innovation, he has delivered more than 200 products to market, earned over 90 international design awards, and holds numerous patents.

After senior in-house design leadership roles in manufacturing, Jarred joined PDR becoming Managing Director in 2015. Under his leadership, PDR has grown into a global consultancy and research centre serving government, industry, and non-profit clients around the world including Allergan, GE Healthcare, the European Central Bank, Cytiva, Kenwood DeLonghi, Wahl, Tefal, and Krups.

He holds undergraduate and master’s degrees in industrial design, an MBA, and postgraduate qualifications in strategic marketing. In 2019, he was appointed Professor of Applied Design Innovation at Cardiff Metropolitan University in the UK, where he contributes to design research and education alongside his full-time PDR role.

Jarred is a regular international speaker and juror, contributing to major design conferences and global competitions across Europe, Asia, and the USA.
