Dr. Hu's has been a lsPO award judge at Munich Germany from year 2013 and his research interests cover functional garment /products design and development, performance evaluation and standard development.
Dr. Hu is listed as an inventor in more than 62 patents which was granted around the world and received innovative product awards from Eureka and the Geneva Exhibition of inventions respectively. Since 2011, he has be a committee member for several National Technical Committees on Textiles and Material Characterization which is part of the standardization administration committee in China.
In addition, he is the Chief Technology Officer of Best Pacifc International Holdings Limited; He is an external doctoral supervisor of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a senior researcher of the Department of Textiles and Clothing of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
